I’m still trying to wrap my head around the shenanigans of the two Foxboro Hot Tubs shows that I attended in NYC (Don Hill’s and Bowery Electric) a few weeks ago. It seems like a dream, and since my bruises have all healed, I ask myself: Did it really happen? I’m pretty sure it did, there’s photographic evidence! I’ll write about the shows, I promise! In the meantime, go and take a look at some photos on Flickr of the crazy time had by all!

Green Day “Rip[s] This Joint” on Jimmy Fallon
This week, Green Day is part of four special performances by bands covering Rolling Stones tunes on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The special week (see more information here) kicked off last night and features songs from the Stones album, Exile on Main Street. Other performers during the week include Keith Urban (Tuesday), Sheryl Crow (Wednesday), and Phish (Thursday). Here’s more from the Fallon show website (link):
“Rolling Stones Week will coincide with the release of a new compilation album, Exile, which will feature 10 new tracks originally recorded during the “Exile” era and only recently discovered while working on the new [Rolling Stones film] project, and an accompanying documentary, Stones in Exile. It’s going to be an incredible week – so STAY TUNED!”
Who knows… the Stones may show up themselves on Friday… but in the meantime, enjoy Green Day as they cover, “Rip This Joint” from the album, Exile on Main Street.
